Critically Thinking About Social Cleanliness in India

Shame Shame!!!

From November, 15, 2015, 1.2 billion Indians would be paying 0.5 percent Swachh Bharat Cess on all services now liable to service tax. For instance, each time you make a mobile prepaid recharge, you would be paying the National Government 0.5 percent tax. For what? For keeping the public places clean.

The only government in the world which levies taxes for dedicated purpose of keeping clean public places is our National Government. This is literally, a shame for the Indian society. Why?
Cleanliness is the visible sign of successful living. For evidence, visit the parts of Indian metros where highly successful people live and visit the parts where less fortunate people live - slums.  Failing to keep clean the streets, bus stops, railway stations, and such public places is the manifestation of lack of success in social life.

What are litter?

Useless waste that has no more value such as a plastic cover of a Lays packet, Brittania Tiger Biscuits packet, old travel tickets, Wrappers of tablets, old broken water cans, printed papers such as mobile  prepaid vouchers are LITTER. People usually throw them on open places.

One throw = two times work

A piece of garbage thrown outside on open space, would make the garbage collector work twice the amount of work needed to clean the public places. If we strictly follow the habit of using the dustbin for eliminating garbage, our public places would remain clean.

Spitting & Urinating

Spitting on public places is a sign of foolishness. Only fools would manifest their ignorance so openly than a person who has an habit of spitting in public places. We all know, spitting makes the place unclean and unclean places become unusable to others. If don't care for others who will care for us?

Urinating on the side walls of compounds is another unclean habit. The lack of enough easy access RESTROOMS cause this problem.

Only Successful people can keep their environment CLEAN

All people who are clean are the only successful people.  Keeping clean your mind, body and the outer environment requires life time commitment from an individual. It requires willingness to work hard. So, if someone is clean, it tells that he is successful personally and socially. Commitment to cleanliness is commitment to life long personal success.

India is not rich country yet

Our nation remains poor for more than 3000 years. From generation to generation the poverty of the people is increasing and spreading. None of the leaders so far were able to eradicate poverty in India. None of them would ever be able to eradicate poverty. Because eradicating poverty is like ANT work. It requires the active participation of all individuals. Ensuring the success of all people is the most apt way to make India clean. I would urge you to resolve to help people succeed in personal life through active MENTORING. Be happy and make all happy!!!
