India 2015 - A Land Of Persistent Poverty Of Happiness

This is an account of critical evaluation of the state of affairs in our mother land. Yes, there is persistent poverty of happiness all across the country. How do I say that, listen to the recent events turning up in our own days and you will understand.

Let me list out the evidences of my claim one by one.

Gujarat is the most well governed state which is most viable for doing profitable big businesses - this is what most Indians believed and the super human leader Narendra Modi has turned dry desserts into prosperous fertile lands - this what we were made to believe. But on seeing the support extended by Patels for the Hardik Patel's agitation for demanding reservation for Patel students and job seekers, we are perplexed that who is telling lie either Narendra Modi or Hardik Patel . Over half a million have showed up demanding reservation by demanding to degrade themselves from an upper caste list to lower caste list. If Gujarat is the most developed state, why one of it's most developed communities demand for reservation?

Uttarpradesh is the largest state in population in the country even after bifurcation into two states. Recently, I have read a surprising news that for the post of around 300 peons which only requires school level education, the recruitment board had received some 2.2 million applications in which more than 50 applications were from Doctorates who completed PhD, and several thousands from engineering graduates. Why would most educated people confine themselves to under employ themselves?

Unemployment, economic hardships are not confined to the states of Gujarat and Uttarpradesh, it is prevalent in all over India.  See, the most recently created state in India is Telengana. People immolated themselves for bifurcating Andrapradesh and creating Telengana, reason they advocated for dividing the state is regional backwardness of Telangana inside the united Andra. Why would people kill themselves for dividing a state in which they are not going to live?

I hope you agree with my point. And finally, I want to tell you the reasons for our suffering and the way we experience our everyday life.

The one most debilitating factor which affects our everyday life is the tendency to seek a sophisticated life. What are you shocked of my reasoning. Wait wait wait. What makes us to seek a government job  irrespective of our higher qualification? Government Jobs do not demand the employee to produce profits. Whatever the financial situation of the Public Sector Organization-even loss making organizations- pay without fail. But the situation in the private sector is not that much romantic. We all compete for the same slice of the bread because we don't know anything more delicious. So we are suffering.

The private sector organizations in India are terribly exploitative such that even Computer Programmers work for extended hours for more than 10 hours everyday against their own will. The organizational structure demands an employee to lease out himself so that he may not have time to care his elderly parents or growing young children. No where in the world you can see such employees who knew that they are being exploited but accept everything meekly and suffer for the sake of their family's survival.

What is the benefit?

We live a most dissatisfied life on earth because of our own idea of life. Most Indians are diabetic - over 350 million people - most are anemic, under nourished, are some of the benefits of our idea of life.

What is the solution?
Stop competing for the same piece of bread. Become creative. Do business. For a creative business man, problems faced by the people offers business opportunity. How, as a business man if you understand the problems or shortcomings or needs of others and find a means to solve the problem - you are almost done with a new business opportunity. From that perspective, our nation is full of opportunities and offers you every chance to offer solutions. I call upon the young minds of our great country to give up seeking government jobs and take up the immense opportunities that are offering themselves.

Let me list out a few problems - no - opportunities for instance.

1. Solve the Language Problem -  People of India speak different regional languages but the Global environment demands them to speak English, but very few can fluently speak English in Rural India, anybody who visits a second state in India would understand the difficulty in communicating with everyday people. Devise an effective way so that the common language of India - English - can be trained easily.

2. Solve the Transport Problem -  Very few trains run on time in India. Reason the railway is running the oldest technology in the Railway Transport Industry. For year after year they announce developments but there is no real achievement. Similarly, the other public transport means -buses are also in poor situation.

3. Solve the Broker problem - Farmers produce but only the Brokers benefit. Farmers don't have a storage mechanism or direct contact with the consumers to sell directly. because of which farmers hardly benefit anything out of their hard work. Develop an effective mechanism to store and market agricultural products.

4. Solve the Waste Management Problem - A nation of over one billion people produce millions of tons of solid waste every year. And there no technology yet for safely disposing the waste. Most rivers remain most polluted in our country. Devise an effective system to handle wastes.

Observe and identify the issues and problems of our country on your own and try to solve them in an effective way - you are almost done in becoming rich. There is no happiness in poverty of thought. That's why we remain so dissatisfied for more than 3000 years in our mother land. It's a new era - yes era of critical thinking and creativity. Create Happiness. Live Happy!!!!
